Yep, 2026 changes everything

Our lives can change on a dime
Brrr! It's been chilly in South Central Texas.
Hopefully, it will get warmer soon.
I haven't written a blog for this month due to significant changes happening in my life. For those who don't regularly read my blog, 2025 was marked by major health challenges. I nearly succumbed to septic shock along with a heart attack, followed by an internal bleed that required three units of blood. I have finally recovered from all of this, but septic shock requires a long recovery period. As a result, I haven't produced much artwork in 2025.

Just as I'm starting to feel like myself again, another major change is happening. I'm relocating from South Central Texas to the Texas Panhandle, near the Oklahoma border. You might ask why I'm making such a move. My son and his wife are relocating because he has accepted the position of Fire Chief in a small town with a population of 8,400. I've decided to sell my cottage and move as well. So, I'm busy cleaning, packing, and working with a realtor there to find another small house.
This will significantly alter my lifestyle, affecting both my personal life and my art business. Currently, my studio is temporarily closed, and any purchases will experience shipping delays as I will be packing up paintings next week.
This is certainly an unforeseen adventure at this point in my life, and I hope to get back to my blog and business once I'm settled again. Wish me luck in this new year and thank you for your patience.
